John Walsh just returned from a Witness for Peace delegation returned from Colombia Sunday, after meeting with union leaders – prime targets of assassination – human rights, and indigenous groups. He will speak about what the delegation learned about militarization and killings in Colombia, particularly now that the agreement for US use of seven Colombian bases has been signed. John works in the bindery of a corporate printshop, where he is a shop steward, as well as a member of the executive board of Local 767M, Graphic Communications Conference, International Brotherhood of Teamsters. John will also talk about Witness for Peace's Teach-in at Columbia during the Vigil.
Note - John's talk will take the place of the video at our Send-off.
