Join us at the First Unitarian Church in downtown Portland as we send off a number of volunteers who will be going to the "Close the School of Americas" vigil at Ft. Benning, Georgia later this month. We will have a short video, discussion and introductions by people going this year and past attendees, including several who were arrested at past vigils and have spent time in Federal prison as political prisoners.
A great place to learn about the School oif Americas - where the U.S. government trains "military" who terrorize the Americas.
